PRIZES

* The 'Australian Marketer of the Year' will win an 8 day trip for 2 to Italy with $1,000 spending money (the trip has to be booked in 2008 and completed in 2009)

* The 'Australian Marketer of the Year' will have their entry re-judged by an International Jury for the 'International Marketing Excellence Awards'

* The 'Australian Marketer of the Year' will receive the ‘Underdog Marketing Challenge’ with a 12 step programme for developing a stronger Marketing Strategy in the future.

* Winners of all Categories and Sub Categories will receive a framed certificate; an Underdog Marketing Challenge Hamper and $150 cash.

* Each Winner will be promoted to the media and will receive some guaranteed coverage

* All Finalists will be presented with a Certificate

* Each entrant will receive a written report based on the judges’ comments and phone interviews with nominated clients etc.

* Each entrant will receive the appropriate MCEI Award Logo to enable them to use it for their promotional purposes.

* Each Entrant will receive stickers with the MCEI logo and their Status in the Awards that they can use on their printed material (e.g. business cards, brochures etc.) indicating their status in the Awards (e.g. entrant; finalist; winner etc.)

* Each entrant will receive a complimentary MCEI Silver membership for 12 months (Value $260)

Note 1: These prizes will be distributed at the Awards presentation and will not be forwarded to entrants who do not arrive at the Presentation.

Note 2:In the event that a winner does not arrive at the Award Presentation due to exceptional circumstances for non attendance, MCEI must receive a statutory declaration as to the reason, within 48 hours of the Award Presentation; otherwise that award will be cancelled or given to the second place. Any action that consequently takes place will be at the discretion of the MCEI Executives.

Note 3:
The Australian Marketer of the Year will have their entry submitted to an International Jury, to represent Australia in the International MCEI Marketing Excellence Awards. They will also receive a plaque from MCEI Melbourne announcing they were a finalist and including any place win they may have achieved, in the International MCEI Marketing Excellence Awards. This plaque will be presented at the Launch of the Awards for the following year, or another major event run by MCEI where the winner can be present. The entrant must be able to provide 5 duplicated copies of the entry so they can be distributed to the International Jury and be present at the Launch in August of the following year.
