Q.  Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc
A.  After 15 years with Austrade, I joined Ausnindo in 1997.  Born in Brisbane, now living in Melbourne, I have spent 27 years promoting Australian business overseas; strong multicultural business ethics, high standards of professionalism, I dislike the slapdash Australian “near enough is good enough” approach.  Australia has a large number of highly qualified and professional people and organisations which can achieve great success overseas by not limiting themselves to the domestic market. I was awarded Women’s network Australia – executive Woman of the Year 2007.
I enjoy travel, collecting wine, good restaurants and cooking; quality motor cars.

Q.  What is it that your business does?
A.  We are Australia’s oldest International Business Consultants/Government Advocates and Lobbyists, specialising in the Asia Pacific but with offices in Europe and North America.  We assist our Clients to develop international operations through export, import, foreign manufacture, investment, and investment attraction, project participation and a variety of other business ventures.  We have over 70 representatives globally including consultants, researchers and support staff.

Q.  What makes your business unique?
A.   The fact that we are hands-on, international business consultants who assign a dedicated consultant to each client’s project, both in and outside Australia ensures a seamless approach, allowing the client to concentrate on their core business while we undertake the preliminary in-market investigations.

Q.  What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business has had success with?
A.  Public speaking engagements by invitation, government introductions, strategic networking.

Q.  What is it you are looking for as a member of MCEI?
A.  Higher profile across Melbourne industry as capable, efficient and reliable export support and international business service providers and a similar profile with the international associate offices of MCEI.

Q.  What is it you can offer to MCEI members?
A.  
For members interested in exploring international opportunities, we can provide speakers for a seminar or workshop on topics in that field, including exporting, importing, foreign investment, joint ventures, project creation and management for a wide variety of industries, government grants, logistics, etc.  We also have networks or clients who can use members’ services.
