A. My
business is called "Your Client Matters". Our philosophy is that if
you stay in touch with your clients they will become loyal, refer
their friends and become business partners with you. We teach this
to our "business partners" through their interaction with us, our
products and services.

Do you work from home?
A. No. I have an office in Miranda NSW, and have
a team of 8.

What is it that your business does?
A. Provides
marketing and education services to mortgage brokers in the finance
industry. Our main product is a mini-magazine called "Finance
Matters" that brokers can brand as their own and personalise to
their clients. Their subcsription to our magazine also includes
marketing workshops, client competitions, phone based marketing
support, pre-written marketing templates, posters and brochures
ready to use for their own business.

What makes your business unique?
A. The fact
that we are much more than a "newsletter" or magazine company. No
company in this industry provides the range of marketing support
that our company provides, or for the cost effective price we
charge. Our product is designed to help our clients with: client
retention, lead generation and local area marketing. We provide up
to $20,000 worth of competitions for their clients to participate
in every year (and it looks like the broker is providing these)
designed to generate leads and referrals for the broker. We also
provide marketing tools and templates ready to use, quarterly
marketing workshops to help them with business growth, customer
service and systems. Our partners also have access to free phone
based marketing support.

What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy
your business has had success with?
A.
Our Marketing &
Sales workshops have proved to be our best lead generator and sales
conversion from these are quicker and more cost effective for my
business.

What is it you are looking for as a member of
MCEI?
A.
The opportunity to learn
from other businesses and marketing experts, to share my story and
strategies with others and would be happy to consider being part of
the mentor program. I would also be a big supporter and encourage
other businesses to join the program.

What is it you can offer to MCEI members?
A. Over 20 years experience in sales & marketing,
specialising in the finance and related industries. My capacity as
a high volume sales person is one of my strengths and happy to
support those in need of sales skills. I took a struggling start up
company from trading insolvent to being profitable in less than 2
years.

How do you envisage demonstrating your support and loyalty to
the association of MCEI?
A. Happy to
contribute and participate in online activities. Would refer other
business owners to the program, and in the event I am in Melbourne
when a funtion is on, my attendance will be confirmed. Would
consider travelling for special events. |
